Classes for puppies, young and adult dogs

The first class begins without dogs, since the first lesson is a 2 hours theory lesson. During this lesson you will learn how to act with your dog, the importance of your body language and tone of voice, reward system; The 4 leaf clover.

In the classes I am using the book General Obedience written by Inki Sjösten. The book is a manual, telling how to create and maintain a good relationship between dog-owner and dog. This is the base to have the dog learn the words of command, which are useful every day.

Activation of the dog - physically and mentally - is an important part of the book. At the end of the book a work plan for a "general obedience"-course is presented.

My classes include useful exercises and you will be encouraged to create a good relationship with your dog, and most important of all, to have fun and enjoy your training with your dog.

As a part of the course you will be given homework on the main commands of that week as well as 1-2 chapters of study in the book and to watch a chapter of the DVD that is included in the book.

During the 10-lesson course you will learn to handle and train your dog in a positive way. At the end of each course there is an examination, just to ensure each team has reached the goals for the course.

I will have a maximum of 8 dogs in each class. This ensures that each dog and owner can have some individual attention.

Your dog has to be fully vaccinated, wormed, flea and tick treated to join the lessons.

The courses are held in English. On request a course may be held in Swedish. The book General Obedience is translated into the languages listed above the picture of the book below.
